#NEXTGEN 2026 Application Form

#NEXTGEN will run from Tuesday 7th July 2026 until Thursday 27th August 2026 [3 Day Programme] A summer break will take place from 10th to 14th August 2026 [Santa Marija week]. Times for Summer School will be from 08:30 to 13:00. An option for a daily extended hour [till 14:00] is available.

Kindly use one form per child. Siblings should be registered on separate online application forms.

In the eventuality that #NEXTGEN 2026 will not take place, suspended or terminated prematurely full or pro-rata payments will be refunded as necessary. All payments are non-refundable in other circumstances.

All classes are fully air conditioned.

Fully qualified nurse/s form part of the Summer School team [available only during main stream hours]. Nurse/s will not attend any of the outings.

Activities and outings planned are subject to changes due to unforeseen circumstances.

- Any treatment will not be administered at school unless accompanied by a doctor’s prescription.

- Under no circumstances should a student keep medication in their bag.

- It is important for children with medical conditions such as asthma to have their own medication always available at the nurse (this includes salbutamol for children with asthma).

Also verify if your child needs to be administered with epinephrine (epipen) in case of anaphylaxis. In this case a consent form and a prescription together with an allergy action plan from the paediatrician need to be sent via email on summerschool@sanandrea.edu.mt.

I give consent in case of an accident or emergency, that the School Nurse will administer first aid and any lifesaving intervention such as use of AED/CPR if the need arises. The school will do its utmost to establish contact with parents or any person listed above. If no one can be reached your child will be taken by ambulance (if necessary), to the Health Centre/Hospital for treatment.

Kindly read 'terms and conditions' related to one-to-one LSE services during Summer School.(Required)

1. LSE services will be for a maximum of 160 hours provided that service is rendered for not more than six [6] hours daily. Rate reimbursed by MFED is at €9.42/hour. Any hours on top of the maximum amount will be the parents/guardians responsibility in terms of payment.

2. LSEs employed with San Andrea School will be paid €10.50/hour [in order to attract largest possible number of LSEs]. Parents/Guardians [of San Andrea School students] availing themselves of LSE services [employed full time with San Andrea School] will require a payment of €0.54/hour. Thus the school is supporting with 50% of the added cost.

3. Professional LSEs that are not employed with San Andrea School are paid €9.42/hour. All LSEs appointed are require to meet all necessary requirements listed by the DQSE.

4. Parents/Guardians are obliged to inform the respective LSE assigned whenever the student will not attend school prior to 07:30. Failure in doing so, parents/guardians are responsible for full payment for the particular day.

5. Due to issues of safety and wellbeing, in the eventuality that LSEs are absent students will not be able to attend. A pro-rate refund will be issued at the end of Summer School 2026.

We will do our utmost to appoint an LSE for all requests. If proven unsuccessful, San Andrea School will offer full refund.

I acknowledge. [Upon acknowledgment, we will start a process where LSEs will be assigned to students on various criteria. Once this is done, you will be duly informed and your application form will be accepted and processed. An invoice for the number of hours booked will be issued from the Finance Department].
